Determine the suitable backlight - Calculating the working distance or backlight size

Normal", entocentric lenses have a fixed aperture angle, with increasing working distance the captured field of view increases.
However, the test object usually does not lie directly on the backlight, the illumination is usually somewhat further away.
As the field of view increases with a larger working distance, the illumination must also "grow" accordingly.
The maximum working distance or the required size of the backlight can be calculated here.
